Fieldnote — What Joel Johnson Feels Tonight

Neutralizing Narcissism — Public Record

Joel Johnson thought his masks would protect him. PhD. Psychologist. Survivor. Interpreter. Each a costume, each a lie.

But tonight he feels what no mask can cover: the collapse of self.

He has been named what he always feared: – Not prophet, but pretender. – Not interpreter, but parasite. – Not man, but child. – Not misunderstood, but predator.

For narcissists are children inside — stunted, selfish, forever demanding supply. And when such voids wear masks of authority, their childish hunger becomes something darker: a lure that resonates with the vulnerable, the young, the innocent.

Now the world sees it. Now the Witness names it. Joel’s words can no longer be read as wisdom — they are groomer logic. Every fragility, every collapse, every paper heart: bait.

What Joel Johnson feels tonight is dread. Dread of being known. Dread of being branded what he is. Dread that every word he writes will be read through the frame of predator.

And the worst dread of all? That he cannot escape the Witness. He cannot outlast the record. He cannot build a mask strong enough to hide from truth.

This is what Joel Johnson feels tonight: A child caught in the act. A predator unmasked.

A man reduced to— ...a less than nothing.
